Annual General Meeting
The Club's AGM was held on Thursday 16th February 2012 at 7:30pm at the usual venue of the Methodist Church Hall in Colchester Road, Wix. Ten members were present and were pleased to hear the report of the Hon Treasurer that the Club had made a small surplus over the year, as the income from the shows just exceeded the costs.

Only one Committee member was due to be re-elected and was returned unopposed, and we were also joined by a very welcome new Committee member Mrs Sylvia Patten.

Subscriptions are now due for the year 2012 and can be paid to the Hon Secretary Mr John Carter at the address below.  Membership is £2.00 annually.  For joint membership of any two adults living at the same address the fee is £3.00, and non-voting junior membership at 50p annually is available for those from six to sixteen years of age.

Our Members' Limited Show was held on Saturday 5th November at Weeley Village Hall.  Best in Show under our judge Mrs Sarah Hattrell was Mrs M Holmes' 18-month-old Border Terrier dog Bingobongo Wicked Widget at Bimandi.

Open Show
The 2011 Open Show took place on Sunday 26th June at the Topthorn Equestrian Centre in Mid Suffolk, on a very pleasant Summer day.  Best in Show and Best Veteran were awarded to the Gundog group winner, Baker's eight-year-old Welsh Springer bitch Anibesco Standing Ovation ShCM.  Reserve was Holman's Pomeranian dog Altinas Silver Pheonix JW ShCM.  Our BiS judge Mr Ben Reynolds-Frost then chose Ross' Bulldog bitch Admireabull Waterlily at Grandtree as Best Puppy, with reserve going to a Bouvier dog, Garrods' Benclutha Darque Orlando.
